Description
Organic Cane Sugar, or evaporated cane juice, holds just a hint of sugar cane's inherent molasses, which gives it a lovely pale blond color and mellow flavor.
This sweetener, which is a product of Paraguay, is a one-for-one replacement for refined white sugar.

Good product but lumpy
The 50lb bag was packaged beautifully eliminating any chance of a burst bag. The sugar was very lumpy though (more like huge rocks) and I had to break it up quite a bit. The easiest way to get rid of the huge lumps is to rub one large lump onto another. As I filled my 55lb capacity container, I found that the weight of the sugar breaks up the smaller “rocks” and all I had to do was grab a handful of sugar and squeeze until the lumps went away. But I had to really dig deep through the sugar to find the large lumps that I could “squeeze”. Between rubbing huge lumps together, squeezing not-so smaller ones and digging through the sugar to make sure I got all the medium to large lumps, it was tedious and time consuming but I wanted lump free, flowing sugar in my container. Other than the rocky lumps, I’m very happy with this sugar. I feel it’s reasonably priced and hard to find elsewhere even in smaller quantities. I don’t trust ordering this type of thing from Amazon (who charges more) because if it comes from their warehouse, it may not get packaged properly for shipping. And although shipping cost more from this company, it’s worth it when you don’t have to throw it out because of faulty packaging. Wincrest Bulk Foods is the only company I found that had evaporated cane sugar reasonably priced for 50lbs. I’m very pleased and will order another 50lbs soon to fill up my container—lumps and all!!
